The Teleconnect Space: Ribbon Cutting Ceremony at Columbia Pike
Join us to celebrate a new digital equity space at Columbia Pike Library!
The Teleconnect Space at Columbia Pike Library is a pilot project on digital equity by Arlington Public Library. It is designed to offer our community members essential tech equipment and a private meeting space for online meetings such as telehealth appointments and job/college interviews, or to apply for social services or other government programs.
The vision of the Digital Equity Enterprise Initiative is for all Arlington residents to have affordable, reliable access to high-speed broadband internet and the necessary devices and technology skills to fully participate in the community and economy.
Schedule of Events:
- 4:30 p.m.: Enjoy light refreshments and music from Arlington's own Sunshine Gang
- 5:15 p.m.: Comments and a ribbon-cutting with members of the Arlington County Board.
