The 28-year-old quarterback has routinely said the one stat that matters is win and losses.
However, his numbers can’t be ignored. It’s always a good thing to be compared to Dan Marino, and Peyton Manning.
“I think I’ll look back on it when I’m done playing and really appreciate it. To me the biggest thing is the guys I’ve been able to play with,” Stafford said. “A quarterback can’t have yards, can’t have touchdown, wins without a team around him. I’ve been lucky to have some really good players. I share those numbers with those guys.”
Stafford led the 20-17 fourth-quarter comeback win over the Washington Redskins.
