Victim shot in back in Willingboro

WILLINGBORO – Detectives are investigating a shooting in which the victim was critically wounded.

The victim, a 22-year-old Sicklerville resident, was shot in the back, according to Willingboro police. Officers responding to a report of gunfire found the victim on the unit block of Brooklawn Drive around 1:40 a.m. Wednesday.

The victim was in critical condition at Cooper University Hospital in Camden, police said Thursday.

Police made no arrests but said their investigation continues.
