Your Role with the Company:

The controller function is a hands on role with one direct report who assists with AP.  Overall responsibilities include handling all accounting and compliance functions, including general ledger, monthly financial statements, work in progress, bank statement reconciliation and overseeing payroll and vendor/subcontractor payment issues.  This position also handles licensing and tax filings in multiple states and manages one accounting clerk/assistant, and works closely with the owner on cash flow projections.  The controller will also work closely with project managers to ensure project billing goes out in a timely manner. 

Background Profile:

• Minimum 2 years of Construction Accounting
• Minimum 15 years of work experience
• Experience with Financial Statement Preparation
• Expertise in WIP preparation and analysis
• Working knowledge of Microsoft Excel
