Delete all of the applications that you aren’t using from your computer and make sure that applications aren’t running background processes while you use it.

Delete Temporary Files

Your computer uses temporary files every day doing daily tasks. Over time, the storage space taken up by these temporary files can get very large. To delete your temporary files, including browsing history and cookies, open up My Computer, select the local drive, the Windows folder, and open the folder titled Temp.

Hard drives are typically the culprit behind a slow speed computer. If you have the funds and ability to do so, install a solid state hard drive in your computer. They run much more quickly and can totally transform your computer.

Increase Your Hard Drive Storage
