DANA DE ANO » I predominantly draw on paper with very untraditional materials, including anything from thread to tattered hankies to dry cleaner bags as well as many things in between. Often, these drawings are referred to as two-and-a-half dimensional as they lie somewhere between 2- and 3D. My work is about space, vast expanses, light, and going elsewhere through these fictional, drawn worlds.

EG PROJECT » Erik Gustafson has been designing and building furniture for over 20 years. Following a painting degree from SAIC, Erik taught himself woodworking in which he is able to combine his love for art history and design with fine craftsmanship. He loves the problem-solving involved in furniture construction, and much of what he's learned while building things has, in turn, informed his art.

KRISTIN MARIANI » My practice is an ongoing discourse between art and design. In my studio work I investigate hidden layers of labor discovered inside found cloth and garments, incorporating physical responses to material that emphasize process, chance, and patience. Thread is my drawing tool and connective device to reintegrate cloth fragments and garment remnants into coherent visual relationships.
