Holiday Activities and Food funded by the DfE for Telford and Wrekin Families.

Happy Healthy Active Holidays runs holiday clubs during the Easter, Summer and Christmas school holidays. There are funded spaces available to children in reception through to year 11 who receive benefit-related free school meals.

The Department for Education (HAF Programme) funds each place you book. And so it won't cost anything to attend. Each club will have a range of fun activities such as sports, cooking, dance, music, arts and crafts, and a nutritious meal each day.

Bookings are now open for Easter 2024 holiday clubs!

To make a booking, you will first need to register. Once you have registered you will be notified that your eligibility has been confirmed and you will be able to go ahead and book activities taking place from 23 March to 7 April 2024.

Booking credits

We now have a credit system for booking activities. For Easter and Christmas holidays each eligible child will be entitled to a total of four credits per holiday period. Over the Christmas holidays you will be entitled to 4 credits to use throughout the holidays. One credit is valid to book a half-day of activity. Two credits are valid to book an all-day activity. You can therefore book up to 2 full-days or 4 half-days of activities.

Failure to attend/cancellation policy

We want to offer as many opportunities as possible to families who are able to attend these holiday clubs. For this reason, we will be implementing a failure to attend/cancellation policy.

If your child records two failures to attend or late cancellations without contacting us, the credits for these bookings will be lost and any remaining bookings will be cancelled.

You will be able to book activities with your remaining credits, but you will only be able to be access the remaining activities with spaces. Please ensure you provide at least 24 hours notice for cancellation. You can cancel a booking by navigating to "my bookings" or emailing holidayactivityhub@telford.gov.uk.

We aim to treat all service users fairly and equally.  Service users who do not give adequate notice to cancel a booking or continually fail to attend events which deprives others from access the programme that could have been available to them.

Telford & Wrekin Council and Service Providers require a minimum of 24 hours’ notice for cancellation, failure to do so may result in all bookings being cancelled and continued access to the HHAH programme.
