Heron Mead Equestrian Center Offers Boarding, Training, Lessons and More

May 2019

With almost 30 years of professional experience, dressage and event trainer Kari Stenberg at Heron Mead Equestrian Center in Robesonia, PA, brings out the best in riders and horses with the following services: boarding, lessons, training, coaching, and equine therapies. In addition to the farm’s riding arenas and schooling cross-country course, riders have access to 6,000 acres of State Game Lands and trails near Blue Marsh Lake in Berks County, PA.

Boarded horses benefit from a uniquely customized horse management program and a variety of equine therapies (herbal, laser, massage, acupuncture, etc.) to optimize health, happiness, and soundness. An abundance of turnout time is emphasized. Most horses, including show horses, do exceptionally well with a "high performance barefoot trim".

Instruction in correct and classical riding techniques and effective training programs create successful horse and rider partnerships for competition or just for pleasure. A variety of well-trained lesson horses and ponies with successful show experience are available to teach beginners and experienced riders effective positions and techniques to achieve their equestrian goals. Lesson horses and ponies are available for students to show and use for Pony Club. Summer camps and Heron Mead Pony Club educate students in horse care as well as riding.

Activities scheduled for 2019 include US Eventing Association events and schooling shows from March to November. HMPC activities include Regional Pony Club Rallies from March to June, HMPC “D” Camps the weeks of 6/17 and 8/5, and US Pony Club Championships in late July. Summer “Horse & Pony Camps” are the weeks of 6/24 and 8/12.

The focus for all of Heron Mead Equestrian Center’s services is on safety, fun, and a quality equine experience for all. Check out more information at heronmeadec.com or call to arrange a visit: (610) 223-1079.
