Why, it’s for mechanical purposes, of course!
When one car owner took his car to a dealership for an oil change and air conditioner repair, he found an employee taking the vehicle for a food-inspired joyride, according to Fox 11 L.A.
The corresponding video, of course, has gone viral on Facebook. In said video, the owner’s wife, Mari Agredano-Quirino says to the employee, “Why are you driving my car to get food?”
Agredano-Quirino said that she and her husband were driving down the road and saw a Camaro speed past. Her husband immediately spotted it as their car.
Then, Agredano-Quirino approached the Chevrolet of Montebello employee, who’d taken the vehicle into a drive-through.
She also warns that if the driver hit the tires in his attempt to flee, he’d have to replace the rims.
She took up her complaint with the dealership, but claimed they did not want to take responsibility. However, she was refunded for the repairs.
That didn’t stop her from posting the video on Facebook, though.
Agredano-Quirino said this is a problem that other areas face, too, but that her dilemma was irrefutable proof that it does in fact occur.
The owner of Chevrolet of Montebello told Fox 11 that he called the customer Monday and that the company did not condone what was done.
The employee who took the car is reportedly on probation, and could be fired, the same outlet reports.
The dealership asked Agredano-Quirino to place their apology in her related Facebook post. According to Fox 11, she “does not want to do that.”
