We were devastated when we learned our little Poodle boy of four had metastatic cancer. But with the support and empathy of Dr. Gordon and his team, we were able to release his suffering and give this gift of life back to where it had come.

There are many great vets in South County, but none like Dr. Gordon.

Great experience. We recently moved to the area and noticed a lump on our dog and made an appointment to establish care and get it looked at. We noticed it growing (or maybe it was my imagination) so I sent an email at 9:30pm to Dr. Gordon's office asking if there were any cancellations to get us in earlier. He personally replied the next morning at 5am saying he could slot us before the other scheduled appointments.

When we came in, he and all the staff were very patient and caring. He took his time, did some diagnostics that a different vet didn't do and when we decided to remove the lump he did the surgery; our girl is now recovering. After the surgery, he followed up after-hours and over the weekend to ensure she was doing well. The office was clearly very busy but somehow we never felt rushed.

I'm not a medical professional so have no basis to evaluate the actual clinical work but to a layman observer all looks good. What I can say is that Dr. Gordon clearly cares about both his animal patients and their human owners. He has a wonderful "bedside manner" and professionalism and I'm very happy we found him.

Recently, I had to change my vet because I was unhappy with the lack of care and answers that I was receiving at Sendero Animal Hospital.

My first experience at Arch was nothing short of fantastic. From the moment I walked in, the staff exuded warmth and professionalism.

Dr. Gordon and the vet tech took the time to thoroughly examine my dog, asking questions and genuinely showing interest in her well-being. What stood out was the clear communication - the vet explained years of previous lab work, treatment options, and potential outcomes in a way that was easy to understand. It's evident that he prioritizes transparency and client education.

Dr. Gordon didn't rush through the appointment, ensuring all my concerns were addressed. The attention to detail and the personalized approach made the experience truly exceptional.

Dr Gordon is a gem amongst so many rocks. He genuinely cares about your pet, and takes the time to thank you before you leave. He offers an ovary sparing spay which is actually better for the dogs health and development, rather than the old practice of gutting the female. I drive a distance from West Hollywood to Laguna Beach just so my pup can go to the best vet possible.

This was my puppies first vet visit, and from the moment we walked in the door everyone was kind, compassionate, gentle and welcoming. Jade and the new tech she was training were both great, and made sure to explain things thoroughly. Dr. Leumer was extremely gentle and thorough during the exam and did not push a bunch of medications and unnecessary vaccines. I love this clinics holistic approach and that is one of the reasons I chose to take my baby here. ABVC definitely lives up to their outstanding online reviews! Yesterday we took our 3 year old Cocker Spaniel Henry for a routine visit to Dr. Gordon's new location at 2880 S Coast Highway in Laguna Beach. (Next to the Drake Restaurant)
What an amazing difference from the old tiny location and this new beautiful spot. First of all you have a drive in street parking garage with Dr. Gordon's offices above.
Outside the office is a beautiful deck where you can wait for Dr. Gordon. Inside there is a spacious lobby, refurnished offices, and individual rooms.
If you have never experienced Dr. Gordon's services, you have missed out on the most professional, caring, thoughtful kind doctor.
I guarantee, once you visit Dr. Gordon you will say to yourself, I wish I had come here a long time ago.

Dr. Gordon and his team are amazing. Dr. Gordon is literally the best vet I've ever met in my life. So kind and so caring. The amount of care and follow up after a procedure is unprecedented! Highly recommend for any pet owner that's looking for great service at an amazing facility with an amazing doctor! I can't recommend this place enough!

Dr. Gordon is absolutely amazing. He saved my dog's life. He performed a very difficult surgical operation to remove a bladder tumor through the abdomen. This type of operation is so difficult and complex that most veterinarians flatly refuse to perform it. Additionally, Dr. Gordon offered holistic and cutting-edge immunotherapies for my dog's cancer that most veterinarians would not offer. Also, he is always amiable and available to discuss my dog's condition, even after hours, which is almost unheard of. I would highly recommend Dr. Gordon to everyone who is seeking out veterinary care.

My sweet 6 yr old Rubi is back to her old self and it's all thanks to Dr. Gordon. He noticed that she was limping, not because of sore paws how I mistakenly thought, but because of a bone spur. I wish I had taken her in sooner but it was challenging to find a vet I could trust and I have found just that in Dr. Gordon and his team.

This review is overdue and I had meant to write it sooner. I was reminded when I saw Rubi running around today. I am so grateful for Dr. Gordon's keen eye and experience. His main recommendation was for me to help Rubi lose weight and we've done just that. She's lost 14 lbs since her visit a few months ago and shes running around doing zoomies in the backyard again!
