Fast bowler Pat Cummins was the big winner at the Australian Cricket awards on Sunday as he was rewarded for his fine form in 2018 with the Allan Border Medal.
The 25-year-old has been in sensational form for Australia and was voted as the recipient for his performances during the voting period from January 9, 2018 to January 7, 2019.
He took 44 wickets in the 14 matches he played during that period at an average of 25.61.
He is the youngest winner of the award since Steve Smith won his first back in 2015, and is the first bowler to win it since Mitchell Johnson back in 2014.

In a poll of umpires, members of the media, and his team-mates, Cummins received 156 votes which put him six votes ahead men's Test Player of the Year Nathan Lyon.
Lyon finished the period with 51 wickets in 13 matches at an average of 35.45.
