Congratulations to Vanity Cosmetic Surgery Hospital for becoming the first aesthetic hospital in the world to successfully complete Temos’ “COVID-19 Safe” certification program to reduce the risk of transmission.

Established in 2016 in Istanbul, Vanity was started by three childhood friends dedicated to offering patient-centered services to help people feel better about themselves. While the team is always focused on patient safety, the COVID-19 pandemic encouraged them to ensure that the hospital offers up-to-date and comprehensive risk management precautions.

According to Dr. Guray Yesiladali, the hospital’s founder, “As a global organization, Temos supported us in every stage of this certification period as a team and gave us a chance to improve our regulations to prove Vanity as a safe place for our patients to visit with confidence”.

In May 2020, Temos responded to requests by clients by creating its “COVID-19 Safe: Certificate of Compliance” program to offer healthcare providers with standards to reduce the risk of transmission based on international best practices, rigorous scientific research, and experience of its multi-disciplinary, multi-cultural team. Temos, demonstrating its position as a leader and innovator in accreditation, continues to update this program as more is learned about this disease. In addition, the “COVID-19 Safe” program includes new standards for telehealth & telemedicine as well as crisis communication.

In addition to its full certification program, Temos, according to its Founder and CEO, Dr. Claudia Mika, “offers its standards free to download to anyone who needs its guidance as part of the company’s corporate social responsibility philosophy. The standards have been downloaded almost 200 times by providers on six continents. Our team is proud of the contribution we are making to help keep patients and healthcare workers safer from the risk of transmission”.
