A Cambridge man is facing charges after allegedly attacking another man with a baseball bat in that city.
Waterloo Regional Police say the attack occurred just before 6 p.m. Saturday, on Samuelson Street.
According to police, two people were involved in the altercation. Both received minor injuries, and one was taken to hospital as a precaution.
Police say the man who attacked the other with the bat also had an imitation handgun on his person, and another imitation gun that was found when police executed a search warrant in connection with the altercation.
He faces a charge of assault and other charges related to weapons.
