Charlestown Townhouse Includes Double Parlors Among Its 13 Rooms

140-year-old spread asking $2.5M

The 13-room, 4,566-square-foot townhouse at 22 Cordis Street just off Monument Square in oh-so-quaint Charlestown last sold in October 2009 for $1,420,000. The property dates from 1876, and includes six bedrooms as well as five fireplaces. There's also the potential for a separate apartment on the lower level (because of a separate entrance) and a fashionable back patio.

This go-round, 22 Cordis wants $2,500,000 through Hammond Residential. That might seem like a titanic tag, but it pencils out to about $547 a square foot. A relative steal for this much quaintness, no?
