Calling all siblings!
Have you ever experienced any difficulties requesting leave from work to help support your brother or sister? What are your perceptions of the current Family and Medical Leave Act (FMLA)?
Currently, siblings are not explicitly covered under the FMLA but may be eligible to take job-protected unpaid leave under certain circumstances. The Sibling Leadership Network is looking for siblings to share their experiences requesting leave from work in a short online survey below. The survey is short and should take under 10 minutes to complete, and all questions are optional. Responses will be used to help advocate for and support legislative efforts to expand the family relationships covered by the FMLA. Please submit your responses by March 31, 2021.
