Sultry, soulful R&B is having a bit of a comeback at the moment; Pip Millett, Kali Uchis, JGrrey, the list goes on. And newcomer Keltoum proves that this new wave shows no signs of slowing down.

Debuting her eponymous EP to much acclaim, Keltoum follows in the steps of neo-soul pioneers such as Erykah Badu, but the French artist undoubtedly owns her own sound with hip hop-infused snare drums and laid-back, jazz-inspired vocals. Originating as a composer, Keltoum’s sonic understanding adds another layer to her complex but universal sound.
