Internet Explorer 8's market share once made it the most popular browser, but it's been slipping lately.

CNN indicates that in the last week of November, IE8 fell to 23.5% -- just behind Chrome's share of 23.6%.

Chrome has since risen to 25% while IE8 has continued to fall to 22%.

Keep in mind that this data only looks at individual versions of Internet Explorer. If you add up all versions of IE currently in use, it accounts for a whopping 38.5% of the browser market.
