Asst. Principal Accused Of Sex Crimes Out On Bond

ROCK HILL, SC– Northwestern High School Assistant Principal Kenneth Williams faces multiple charges of sex crimes with students.

An open records request reveals that school leaders warned Williams in 2013 after he had inappropriate conduct with female students in person and over social media.  Williams was warned again in 2015, after he’d been promoted to assistant principal, to stop Snap Chatting with a female student.

Last month, he was arrested and charged with sex crimes involving a student.  Williams bonded out of jail tonight, after a judge lowered his bond from $1.2 million to $15,000 today.

“I am not a threat to the community. In fact, since I’ve been in this county, and in Rock Hill, I’ve been nothing but helpful to members of the community.” said Williams.

Williams is still on paid leave with the school district. The judge ordered him to have no contact with his alleged victims and he will also be monitored with GPS.
