ATLANTA (October 17, 2018) | Earlier this week, the Georgia Department of Insurance announced they will host a Catastrophe Claims Village event in Albany, Georgia. Sen. Dean Burke (R – Bainbridge) encourages all residents of Senate District 11 and those in the surrounding communities seeking help and information on the insurance claims process to attend this event on Thursday, October 18, and Friday, October 19, from 9:00 a.m. until 6:00 p.m.
Citizens who attend the event will be able to speak to staff from the Georgia Department of Insurance and receive in-person assistance with claims and questions related to damage sustained to their property from Hurricane Michael.
