A three-day virtual symposium with severe weather talks, panel discussions and a severe weather event simulation

March 2021 brings the next installment of the Central Indiana Severe Weather Symposium, brought to you by the Indiana Chapter of the American Meteorological Society. Because of ongoing circumstances, the symposium will be held virtually this year, over three separate days - March 16, 18, and 20, 2021. This website serves as your one stop shop for all information relating to the event. Last Updated: 2/25/2021

Session 1 - March 16th
600 pm - 8:35 pm EDT

Presentations and a panel discussion on nocturnal tornadoes.

Session 2 - March 18th 600 pm - 8:35 pm EDT

Presentations and a panel discussion on the August 10th, 2020 Derecho event.

Session 3 - March 20th
900 am - 12:10 pm EDT

A weather event simulation and radar presentation.

REGISTRATION (please read carefully)

Click the link below, fill out and submit the Registration Form. Then submit ONE payment of $10 via PayPal or mailed check as directed at the top of the registration form. Payment must be received by March 10th. The $10 fee covers all sessions which will be held online via GoToWebinar.

Can't make a session? No worries! Presentations will be recorded and available online for registered participants for up to one year.

The goal of this event is educate weather spotters, chasers and the general public about severe weather.
