Tributes pour in after passing of Indigenous musician Vince Fontaine

A well-known and respected Manitoba musician and songwriter passed away suddenly on Tuesday, and those who knew him are now remembering Vince Fontaine for his love of and gift for music, but also for his devotion to community, and to the people he loved.

A well-known and respected Manitoba musician and songwriter passed away suddenly on Tuesday, and those who knew him are now remembering Vince Fontaine for his love of and gift for music, but also for his devotion to community, and to the people he loved.

In a Tweet on Tuesday evening NDP MLA Nahanni Fontaine announced that her uncle, 60-year-old Vince Fontaine, had died suddenly.
