The NOVA Parks Fund supports the Northern Virginia Regional Park Authority, helping it procure, develop, maintain and improve regional parks and recreational and historic facilities it owns or acquires, and supports its focus on conservation, preservation and education.The Community Foundation for Northern Virginia and the Northern Virginia Regional Park Authority have a common interest in the welfare of Northern Virginia, in conserving and preserving local parks, recreational facilities and historic sites in the region, and in maintaining and creating educational opportunities related thereto.
