D-Node 130: John Tejada | Palette + Kompakt

LA techno stalwart John Tejada has been releasing quality techno and tech-house since the mid ’90s. Even with a diverse array of collaborations and off-genre experiments his productions prove reliably excellent, and his latest LP for Kompakt, “Parabolas,” is a flowing, rounded suite of delicately-treated sound, a few old-school nods brought into the near future, and dangerous hooks.

Tejada’s reliability extends to the decks, making him an in-demand DJ for those who recognize live talent beyond the studio, and he’s been a top choice for Droid parties since the beginning. For this edition of D-Node he delivers a jacking mix of timeless techno and house tracks.

There are tons of good tv shows to choose from to say it’s the best. No matter what is said though, there is no doubt that this show ranks in the top five of all of them. Yes, there are shows that are a bit newer but this one still has charm. There is comedy, love, and a little politics, easily moving it up to the top. They just don’t make them like this nowadays.
