Jun 13 Controversial Rapture Teachings by Perry Stone [WATCH]

If you know anything about me, then you know that I LOVE, LOVE, LOVE, LOVE, LOVE me some Perry Stone!! That man preaches the whole Word, nothing but the Word, so help us God! He is a walking Bible and Judaic Encyclopedia and has spent more time in the Word then probably any other minister alive today. And if you tune into his television show, Manna-Fest, on TV or Youtube like I do, or if you purchase and listen to his lengthier teachings, then you know that he is one of the foremost authorities on the Rapture.

Now stop right there!

Some of you might just think I’ve uttered a curse word. (I didn’t.)

The Rapture is one of the most biblical concepts, yet the most divisive among the Body of Christ. I believe this is for several reasons:

A widespread Lack of Biblical Knowledge. Despite the fact that more people have access to the Word of God than any other generation who came before, they just don’t search out the Word for themselves like they should.
Misinterpretation of Bible Prophecy. This could be because of the lack of contextual understanding, a lack of revelation (see next item), or--like many other biblical happenings--a partial or full rejection of the Written Word because it seems too outrageous to finite minds to be true.
Lack of Revelation. I don’t care how much of the logos (written Word) you’ve consumed in your day. If you have no rhema (Spirit-revealed Word, made alive), then you’re still going to be lost. We need God’s Spirit to reveal and illuminate His Word to us. This will clear up any confusion between the pre-, mid-, post-, and anti-Tribulation beliefs.

Enter Perry Stone.

Perry Stone is one of those rare men who have been given the gift of prophecy and the gift of prophecy in the area of End Time Events.

I am pre-Trib myself. Have always been, will always be. And while I believe understanding of End Time Events is important for God’s people to understand, I try to make a point to not debate and argue about it. 1) Because I believe the Word of God, Genesis to Revelation, is abundantly clear on the subject. 2) Because I am not Perry Stone, nor a Rapture/End Time expert. 3) Most importantly, because it is not necessary to our salvation. You can misinterpret the Rapture and still make it to Heaven. You won’t lose your salvation over it. You’ll simply understand it “by and by.”
