Aduana Coach Calls For Support From Ghanaians
21.04.2018 LISTEN

The head coach of Aduana stars football club, Coach Yusif Abubakar has called on Ghanaians to support the club as they continue their journey in Africa.

Coach Abubakar made this plea today whiles addressing a few media personnel who were at the Kotoko International Airport today when they landed In Accra from Madagascar.

The Dormaa club went away to play their second leg match versus Madagascan club, Fosa Juniors on Wednesday. Even though they lost that game by two goals to one, they managed to go through to the group stage of the CAF Confederations Cup due to the massive victory they had when they played the first leg game at home.

The coach who led Aduana stars to league glory urged Ghanaians to support teams that represent Ghana in Africa particularly Aduana stars who are currently still in the competing in Africa.

Coach is of the view that often times when a team is playing a home game while playing in Africa competition, they barely get support from other teams. This he believes is bad and rather we should all support each other so that at the end of the day the team representing Africa will bring glory to Ghana.

To add to that, Coach Yusif Abubakar lauded team owner Nana Agyemang Badu II, the chief executive officer of the club, Albert Commey, the people of the community of Dormaa as well as everybody who has supported Aduana through their journey.

Aduana stars now await their group stage opponent, with the draw for the group stage scheduled for tomorrow.
