Google AMP pages, and, of course, any page, could have errors, from Google's point of view.

AMP is relatively new, and one way to get around indexing and display errors is to use the Google Search Console, which has a section showing AMP pages.

There are also browser-based tools to help, such as the Chrome DevTools Console panel [developers.google.com...]

There's also AMP Browser extensions, although they are only available for Chrome and Opera.
[chrome.google.com...]
[addons.opera.com...]

Of course, there's the AMP page validator [validator.ampproject.org...]

Here's Google's latest blog post on the topic [webmasters.googleblog.com...]

Probably worthwhile mentioning that if AMP documents don't verify, they'll not appear in Google results. So this is, kind of, quite important!

Thanks for that, James007, yes, that might be missed by some. After all, if we go to all the trouble of developing AMP pages, why fail to validate! Yes, kind of, quite important. :)

If they don't validate, they'll likely just not get the promissed AMP icon.

If the AMP page is the only one, then you'll drop off the SERPS altogether.
