  1. Thanks for explaining how the Axis, Origin property works on Simple Deform. And it works not just on Bend, but also on Twist, Taper, and Stretch. On each of those they also have 2 additional check-boxes which can limit the modify to not affect X or Y.

    For anyone not getting the effect they were looking for, try rotating the empty 90 degrees in each of X, Y , or Z.
