The Tennessee Department of Health confirmed 1,615 additional cases of COVID-19 across the state Sunday, October 5.
The department also confirmed 17 deaths and 871 new recoveries.
They confirmed Weakley County has 121 active cases, and Obion County has 196.
Weakley County had a net gain of three cases since Friday. Obion County's net gain was 40.
University of Tennessee at Martin officials confirmed 49 active student cases, which is down from Wednesday's 51, along with three faculty and staff cases.
