Start your journey off in the comfort of your car by driving to the airport and take advantage of LLA's convenient parking facilities.
Construction on a light rail link between the terminal and Luton Airport Parkway is underway, so please allow yourself some extra time to get to the airport.
For customers staying longer than 24 hours we recommend pre-booking parking at one of our official car parks and arriving early to select a space. Official car parks are patrolled 24/7 by management staff, Airport Security and the Police, so you have one less thing to worry about.
Dropping Off/Picking Up?
Due to the recent Car Park Fire, a new temporary drop off zone is located in the Mid Stay Car Park, this is free of charge until further notice. Please drop passengers off as quickly as possible to enable other passengers to be dropped off.
Electric vehicles
As part of the airport’s efforts to encourage sustainable methods of transport, drivers of electric vehicles will pay £1 for a drop-off or pick-up of up to 30 minutes. To take advantage of this reduction, EV drivers must park in the dedicated electric vehicle spaces on level 2 of the Terminal Car Park 1 and take their parking ticket to the Priority Parking Office on the same floor to have their ticket validated.
Note: This discount applies to 100% electric vehicles only, and not to hybrids. Stays beyond 30 minutes are not discounted, and the discount will not be applied to the first 30 minutes of a stay longer than this time. There is also a maximum of eight hours charging in the actual charging bays.
Public transport alternatives
If you're looking to travel to LLA using public transport, there are a number of options available to you.
Train services run around the clock; trains from central London to Luton Airport Parkway can take as little as 20 minutes.
There are also lots of bus routes with around 400 services arriving and departing at London Luton Airport each day.
