Hot on the heels of Marriott’s new W Suzhou, which opened at the end of September, Le Meridien Hotels and Resorts similarly made its brand debut in the Chinese city with this new “French romance meets classical Jiangnan” property. The hotel’s 285 rooms and suites offer views of Lake Taihu or the city, while six of villa rooms also come with their own exclusive hot springs. Sheraton Guangzhou Nansha Hotel

One of the first international branded hotels to open up in Guangzhou’s Nansha district, the new Sheraton Guangzhou Nansha Hotel is the brand’s second in Guangzhou and 13th in Guangdong province. All of its 291 rooms and suites have views of the Nansha and Jiaomen Rivers, courtesy of their floor-to-ceiling windows. Intercontinental Hotels Group’s (IHG) sixth Australian property, the Intercontinental Perth City Centre stands alongside theatres, cafes and luxury retailers with heritage-style storefronts. The hotel’s 240 rooms have a similarly quaint feel though with modern touches. Having undergone a full year-long transformation, The Fleming (named after the street on which it resides in Hong Kong’s Wan Chai district) is set to reopen this weekend. The boutique property comprises 66 guestrooms across four sizes – Small, Medium, Large and Extra Large, which range from 21 sqm to 36 sqm. Hotel Ease

Located in Hong Kong’s Tsuen Wan district in the New Territories, Hotel Ease will mark the second brand from hospitality company, Tang’s Living Group, to open in the city. Cachet Resort Dewa Phuket

Cachet Hospitality Group’s (CHG) second resort property, Cachet Resort Dewa Phuket is a conversion property that began operations as a CHG-managed hotel earlier this year. However, the resort is getting an internal facelift, with interior renovations set to complete this December. This hotel will mark the debut of the AC by Marriott brand in Japan when it opens in three years’ time. The Westin Darwin

Australia’s Northern Territory is set to see its first Westin property in 2020 with The Westin Darwin. The hotel will form part of a wider mixed-use development – an increasingly common strategy in the hotel sphere – alongside restaurants and residences. Some 240 guestrooms including 14 suites will be at the hotel, alongside three F&B outlets within the hotel itself. Club Med Ho Tram

Club Med is heading to Vietnam in 2021, located in Ho Tram about 90 minutes from Ho Chi Minh International Airport (and close to the upcoming Long Thanh International Airport). The resort will be located on a private beach with access to a medley of sea and land activities (there will be about 30 in total), notably the brand’s signature Flying Trapeze, along with archery and yoga.
