Maine Sweeps Women's #AEHoops Awards on Heels of 2-0 Week
BOSTON – An exciting week in women's #AEHoops concluded with Albany, New Hampshire and Maine all going unbeaten. Albany and New Hampshire each extended win streaks by three in the process. Since opening conference play 0-1, the Great Danes have won six straight while the Wildcats are winners of four in a row after they started league play 1-1. Late-game drama helped the Wildcats to a pair of road wins in the final seconds against Vermont and Stony Brook.

Player of the Week
Blanca Millan, Maine – So., G, Santiago de Compostela, Spain
- Led Maine to a 2-0 week behind 19.0 points per game and 7.5 rebounds per game.
- Posted her third double-double of the season with 23 points and 10 rebounds against Vermont.
- Averaged 2.0 steals per game.
- It is her first #AEHoops Player of the Week honor of her career.
Rookie of the Week
Dor Saar, Maine – Fr., G, Ma’anit, Israel
- Averaged 10.5 points on 47 percent shooting in 2-0 week for Black Bears.
- Connected on all four of her shot attempts in win over Vermont.
- Dor has scored double figures in three straight games.
- It is her first career #AEHoops Rookie of the Week award.
