How to use our new events calendar

There’s a lot happening in South Jersey, and we have a new tool to make sure you keep up on all of it.

Our Eventful calendar is a searchable guide to concerts, festivals, family activities, cultural events and much more.

However you define fun, you’ll find it at events.thedailyjournal.com

You can also add listings to promote events for your group or business. Here’s how:

• Click on “add your event” on the site’s main page.

•  If it’s your first time using the site, you’ll be prompted to register. This is a one-time step that will allow you to keep track of all your events and make changes as needed.

• Once you are registered, you can fill out the following information: Event title, date, place, category, description, image (if any), cost and website link.

• For “where,” fill out the name of the event venue. If the venue doesn’t appear in the drop-down menu, you can add it.

• If you have contact info to add, include it in the description. Please keep the description to two or three brief sentences if possible.

• Although the system allows the addition of three categories, only one is needed. Please select the one category you feel best describes your event.
