El post de Social Media Today titulat The Aggregated Twitter Account m’ha agradat força, ja que va més enllà de l’habitual consideració de twitter com a xarxa social i d’eina de màrketing: es fixa en la utilitat de twitter com a eina d’agregació de contingut, i per tant de curació d’informació. Per exemple, a la UdG piulem les notícies que trobem a la premsa sobre turisme amb el hashtag #pmtourism, que després permet reutilitzar les piulades de diferents comptes per agregar el contingut, gestionar la rellevància, repiular-lo, etc.
En tot cas, twitter es pot fer servir perfectament com a eina de descoberta d’informació:
