 Keynote Friesland Campina: A vision on Proteins
Corporate director Margrethe Jonkman will reflect on the changing demand for proteins and present FrieslandCampina's approach to innovation on 26 May 2016. “I strongly believe that by working together and building on each other’s strengths, a win-win can be created,” she says. “It sounds quite simple, but in practice the right conditions must be created to make this happen.” Read more about FrieslandCampina's approach towards innovation and F&A Next. 
Pitch: Extracting High-value Botanical Ingredients
Did you know that many of the world's most popular health supplements are produced using paint thinner and nail polish remover? Mazza Innovation has commercialized a water-based extraction process that is more efficient and effective than current methods while being much more environmentally friendly. Mazza President Benjamin Lightburn will pitch his business during F&A Next, aiming to secure a $3 - $5 million investment to increase capacity.
 The value in partnering with Agtech startups

Anterra Capital's Managing Partner Adam Anders believes agribusinesses such as the ‘Big 6’ are likely to provide some exit opportunity for startups, but he also thinks that they will find value in partnering with agtech companies in other ways. StartLife has facilitated 120 technological startups in the agrifood domain and biobased economy over the past five years. Managing Director Jan Meiling will host a pitching competition for early stage startups on 25 May 2016. We welcome pitching applications. Interested? Email us.

Early Stage Startups and Investors that have invested in early stage startups will have priority, as well as Corporates that contribute to a healthy Startup Environment.

26 May 2016
Startups that are ready for a second round of investment and investors that have invested in similar Startups will get priority as well as Corporates that work with later stage Startups.

Additionally, a limited number of representatives from the International Press, Entrepreneurs in F&A and Students with an F&A Entrepreneurial Profile will be admitted on both days.
