Northeast Wisconsin girls among award finalists
We’re less than two weeks away from the biggest celebration of high school sports that’s ever been held in northeast Wisconsin.
The Northeast Wisconsin Sports Awards, sponsored by Festival Foods and Bellin Health and presented by USA TODAY NETWORK, will be held May 14 at the Lambeau Field Atrium in Green Bay. Registration and a social gathering will begin at 5:45 p.m., with the awards program at 6:30 p.m.
Hall of Fame baseball star Cal Ripken Jr. will be the featured speaker. USA TODAY NETWORK-Wisconsin’s Brett Christopherson and Ricardo Arguello will be the hosts.The event will pay tribute to more than 200 of northeast Wisconsin’s finest high school athletes, teams and coaches from the 2015-16 school year.
