Scholars of the Week: Green Bay Preble

Haley Siegworth

Preble High School senior Haley Siegworth is an academic standout and has maintained a 4.0 grade point average. Haley has challenged herself each year by taking the most rigorous courses offered at Preble High School, taking eight Advanced Placement classes. She is an active member of National Honor Society, Future Business Leaders of America, Health Occupation Students of America, math club, orchestra, student council, Link Crew and a member of the girls cross country and volleyball teams. In addition to the numerous extra-curricular activities, she has logged over 209 service learning hours during her high school career. The former Badger Girls state delegate plans to return to Madison and attend the University of Wisconsin-Madison where she will major in biomedical engineering. 

Alexis Wiegert

Alexis Wiegert academically shines at Preble High School, earning a 4.0 grade point average while taking numerous Advanced Placement and advanced courses. She is active in the National Honor Society, Sting Cancer, Link Crew, orchestra, book club, social studies academic team, Key Club, and was the head of the costume crew for Preble’s musicals and plays. Alexis has received the Silver Presidential Volunteer Service Award, Volunteer Service Bar, high honors, graduation honor guard, Golden Lamp of Knowledge for Academics, student of the month, and was nominated for the National Academy of Future Physicians and Medical Scientists Award of Excellence. Alexis has shown her commitment to our community by completing over 72 hours of volunteer work. Alexis will attend St. Olaf College in Minnesota where she will major in biology.
