Mel Kiper's final 2016 NFL Mock draft

Editor's Note: This was updated at 5 PM on Thursday with two picks adjusted.

Ah, sweet relief. Soon, I'll get to stop projecting picks, and teams will actually start making them. A couple of thoughts with the final mock draft of the season: One, I don't have a third quarterback in Round 1 after the first two are taken in the first two slots; two, I fully expect to see some movement. There are teams, such as the Titans, who have plenty of draft assets and could make a move.

A final reminder: This is not a reflection of where I have players ranked. My final Big Board is here. This is simply a projection of where I think guys can come off the board.

Enjoy the draft, everyone, and thanks for following along.

1. Los Angeles Rams*

Jared Goff, QB, California

He's the top available quarterback in the draft, and he goes to a franchise that needs to finally make it work at this position. I'll be shocked if the former Cal quarterback isn't the pick.

2. Philadelphia Eagles*

Carson Wentz, QB, North Dakota State

We haven't seen a quarterback from the FCS go this high, but Wentz has a skill set that many teams love, and Philly got into the right place to take him.

3. San Diego Chargers

DeForest Buckner, DE, Oregon

I initially had this as an O-line pick, but I think there's a good chance those who really want the Oregon D-lineman will win out.
