Summer Gifts For Employees

Ok, the weather is warming up in many part of the country and people will be getting outside to enjoy the Spring, including your employees. There are a lot of things you can do to make an impression on your team and a thoughtful gift is one of them. One approach we like to take is to create a “kit” or a gift bag. Rather than one more expensive item, consider the activities your employees may take part and create gift basket of smaller, yet meaningful items.

One of our favorite combinations is the Summer Casual Kit. It is the simple summer essentials, including logo t-shirt, baseball cap and branded sports water bottle. These three simple items presented in a nice gift bag will make a great impression on employees and be used throughout the summer. For a little extra fun kick, add logo sunglasses.

Have some beach goers? Logo beach towels, The Flyer disc, the protective waterproof phone case and an insulated water bottle all in a nice tote would be a welcomed combination. Just be sure to give it out on a Friday… they’ll be so enthused they’ll hit the beach the next day.

Weekend road trips are a great pastime for many people. Make their travel a little more convenient with a car kit. The essentials are the car charger, branded phone holder and a fold-able compact umbrella to keep in the car. As a little extra, custom PopSockets will let them grip their phone to capture great moments while out hiking taking in the views. Have a contest among your employees – the most selfies in front of landmarks!

If your company has a lot of golfers, you can put together a nice golf kit that will be appreciated by scratch golfers and duffers alike. Stick to the universal items that most golfers don’t have a distinct preference ( logo golf balls are great, but are your employees Titleist junkies or do they crave Callaways?) Try the tri-pack for divot fixes, ball marker and tees, combine with a logo golf towel and a golf bag cooler (fits nicely in the bag), and you’ll have some happy golfer some the weekend.

The saying goes “its the thought that counts.” So, when deciding about gifts for employees, really give it some thought. Perhaps you have a few different gift kits depending on the employees. Some golfer, some beach goers or road-trippers and some folks your just not sure about (basic summer fun?). Employee gifts don’t have to be expensive to make a great impression. Give it some thought, both in terms of the items and in how you present the gifts and you will make a lot of people smile.
