Alabama lands commitment from 2019 athlete Trey Sanders

Alabama's A-Day weekend has yielded its first commitment for the Crimson Tide and it's an early one.

Class of 2019 athlete Trey Sanders committed to Alabama, announcing the pledge in a tweet.

Sanders is the first player from the 2019 recruiting cycle to commit to Alabama. The 6-foot-2, 200-pound star from Port St. Joe, Florida also holds offers from Florida, Florida State, Georgia, and Auburn.

Sanders was a standout running back at Port St. Joe High School as a freshman last season.
