Silverleaf providing education to help combat human trafficking

Human trafficking is an issue that often doesn’t get a lot of attention. But it’s a worldwide problem that happens not only in America, but local communities as well.

Human trafficking is described on the Silverleaf Sexual Trauma Recovery Services website as a “modern-day form of slavery involving the illegal trade of people for exploitation or commercial gain and it can take many forms, including sex trafficking.”
