Racked is no longer publishing. Thank you to everyone who read our work over the years. The archives will remain available here; for new stories, head over to Vox.com, where our staff is covering consumer culture for The Goods by Vox. You can also see what we’re up to by signing up here.

Tomorrow, menswear boutique Nepenthes is hosting a sample sale of its Engineered Garments and FWK collections to support victims of the earthquake in Japan. The shop will send every penny they earn from the sale to relief efforts, so customers are encouraged to pay more than the list price (or just offer a monetary donation.) Ever since it opened last year, Nepenthes has been slowly turning W. 38th Street into a bona fide retail destination for guys, so if you haven't found a reason to go yet, this might be a good one.

Other ways to contribute: Tadashi Shoji is giving 10% of proceeds from online sales to the Red Cross. Steven Alan is giving 15% of sales to International Medical Corps through March 17. And as always, you can donate directly to the Red Cross here.
