Best Free PC Games in India 2019

Castles, dungeons, treacherous tunnels, a valiant prince, a beautiful princess… one of the best free Indian PC games to emerge in recent times has all this and a lot more. But first things first: the game we’re talking about uses traditional (and gorgeous) Indian miniature painting style. No prizes for guessing – we’re talking about The Legend of Vraz, the game that’s rising in popularity.

We sat down to play and review some of the best PC video games. It was fun, at least when we started out. But soon, a slow feeling of déjà vu settled on us; most games were turning out to be smart clones of some other game. Smart, but clones nevertheless. They had the bells and whistles, but that freshness of originality was missing.

Of course, there were some breath-taking games too. Some of these games we reviewed were packed with the requisite punch. Long after we stopped playing them, we could clearly recall details because these games were way more engaging, more enticing. And one of these games has The Legend of Vraz.

The game-story might sound charmingly familiar to you: there’s a prince, Prince Vraz, who’s in love with a beautiful princess, Princess Avi. Just like every other epic love story, things aren’t easy for the starry-eyed couple. The prince must prove he’s a worthy suitor by completing a range of tasks that only a lion-hearted man can carry out.

The tasks are deceptively simple – like collecting 100,000 gold coins, for instance – but the perils along the way are enormous, in fact almost overwhelming.

Prince Vraz needs to traverse through unknown and dangerous terrains, fighting powerful enemies (including the almost invincible Vizier of Kund, who has his own plans for Princess Avi).

And this is where the narrative of The Legend of Vraz, which is easily one of the top new PC games we’ve reviewed in recent times, really picks up.

One of the best elements is perhaps the variety of challenges (aka tasks) that the prince must accept and successfully meet. For instance, the prince must find a hundred thousand gold coins and search for symbols of love like a diamond-studded heart and the brightest red rose. On the other hand, the prince must establish his valor by finding a special horse and a traditional, valuable sword – both symbols of bravery.

Beautiful locations come to life as the game unfolds. Its 15 levels form the backdrop for action as the prince struggles in his attempt to beat his adversaries. The story unfolds across 4 different worlds, each with its own share of surprises.

What ultimately prevails the fact that even though the game is that the love of a swashbuckling hero, there isn’t any violence involved. Of the upcoming PC games, we found The Legend of Vraz has one of the best overall smooth gameplay, refined storytelling, and a lovely way of presenting the universal values of compassion, loyalty, and forgiveness.
