Strangest Animal Moments in Sports

The world of sports is generally not meant to mix with animals.
We have seen several instances where the two have tried to unite and join forces, but it has never really ended up well.
Except for the occasional sport where a human is actually riding the animal, I would venture to say that it is safe to say that animals and sports should be kept separate.
When they do mix, things tend to get pretty crazy, though, and we here at Bleacher Report have rounded up some of the craziest moments.
Birds seems to always get in the way of sports, and you will notice a trend of cute fuzzy animals running around baseball diamonds.
Here are the strangest animal moments in sports:
20. Here Kitty Kitty...
Nothing like a cute little kitty cat running around on a baseball field....
So precious!
18. Have You Ever Seen an Elephant Fly?
Honestly, these elephants could probably make the U.S. team.
Sad as that is....
17. Killer Bees
I like how the announcers are just sitting back in their sheltered booth laughing at the poor golfers risking their lives.
16. Luis Moreno Owl Kick
There is nothing funny about this slide, but it is an animal/sports moment that has drawn a lot of talk.'
This poor Owl was the mascot for one team, and the tool from the other team went and kicked him.
The announcers will explain the rest.
15. Seagull Attack
The poor Cubbies just deal with so much crap on a yearly basis.
Enjoy this homemade rendition of "The Birds."
14. Skunk on a Field
Poor Joey Metropolis....
Hint: You actually have to watch the clip to understand that joke.
13. Rabbit on a Field
This guy is a little bit less threatening than a skunk, but a whole lot quicker.
Enjoy the expert commentary.
12. Tennis Ball vs. Bird
I'm not sure about this strange religious ritual that the tennis player performed after killing this bird, but the crowd loved it.
Sick people, those Europeans...
11. Cricket Ball vs Pigeon
I know nothing about this sport, but I am assuming throwing the ball at a bird is not part of the rules.
10. Hawk on the Loose
Hey, no biggy!
It's just a live Hawk.
And you thought Shaq had a problem shooting free throws under normal circumstances...imagine the brick he would throw up while staring at that bird.
9. Cat on a Tarp or Bear on a Tramp?
The cat one is pretty funny, especially since the dude rolling it out is clearly like...."WTF!?"
The dead bear falling is just somewhat creepy.
8. Pigeon Power
You mean you havn't heard of Raiders great Joey "The Pigeon" Tuscollani?
He grew up in the Bronx.
Great kid, that Joey...
6. Dog Crap
Don't you wish you could do this whenever your team is losing?
"This is what I think of you, buddy!"
And then you poop in front of thousands of people.
5. Birdie...Literally
Did she not see the bird right in front of her!?
And what is with that creepy announcer in the beginning?
4. Turtle Drop
This is a pretty recent video.
I love all the people trying to talk the turtle off the ledge.
And then the classy super slo-mo analysis.
You know that these guys have just been practicing and waiting for the day they got to call a turtle dive.
I can only imagine what the turtle is thinking.
"Ah, THIS GAME IS SO BORING!"
3. Randy Johnson vs. Bird
You know the catcher was sitting there like, "wait a minute, buddy, that's not the pitch I called!"
If you stick around, you will get to experience what happens when any loser in their mother's basement can get a hold of editing software.
2. Run, Pig, Run
For some reason this video couldn't load and I didn't want to deprive you of this moment, so go ahead and check out this link to it.
Or, you can stare at this picture of a pig I found and make up your own slide.
Whatever floats your boat, man...
1. Bear Trap
"Hunny...I don't want to startle you, but there is a black bear running towards you"
"Don't move! If we pretend we don't see him, maybe he won't see us."
I can only imagine the conversation those rich saps were having with this bear gallivanting around the course.
