Hello Wheatsville friends and fans!
We had a great weekend at the HONK ! TX festival and the New Story Festival. Both of these events, while different, unite people and celebrate humanity and diversity. I was delighted to see so many Wheatsville Owners at HONK! as my family and I enjoyed bands from all over the US, plus two international bands! The proud feminist band Damas de Ferro from Rio and the Vibrass Ska Ensemble from El Salvador got everyone moving and grooving together. It’s a joy and privilege to help sponsor these kinds of positive events in our city that can help bring ‘More Happy People’ into Austin’s public spaces and streets and your support of the co-op is what makes it possible. Thanks for doing as much shopping as you can at Wheatsville! You make us go!
