When I appeared on the Bill Good Show, one of Vancouver’s top talk radio shows Monday to discuss Canada’s ban on election-night tweeting, an issue that I wrote about for HBR, I didn’t know that I’d been preceded by Stephen Harper, Canada’s Prime Minister, who ultimately was reelected. If only I’d had a chance to talk to him, I could have asked in advance for amnesty for TweetTheResults.ca, our site to challenge what we see as an outmoded law that restricts speech for no good reason.
