Paul Anasta was appointed to the EPA by President Obama, so he has watched the environmental watchdog being depowered with some alarm.

He's visiting Australia for the RACI Centennial Chemistry Congress, where he's speaking to thousands of chemists about the answers to environmental problems moving forwards.

And many of those answers lie in green chemistry: making our future out of non-toxic and environmentally sustainable materials.

He spoke to Nick Bosley-Pask about making headway in the US environmental arena when the Administration isn't interested.
