Luke puts up dukes in song suits

Oh, he’ll hold it against you, all right.

Songwriter to the stars Dr. Luke, fuming about accusations of plagiarism, is suing two musical acts that charge that he ripped them off to make hit songs for Britney Spears and Ke$ha.

The Bellamy Brothers, a country music duo, had alleged Dr. Luke, whose real name is Lukasz Gottwald, ripped off their 1979 hit, “If I Said You Had a Beautiful Body, Would You Hold It Against Me?” for Britney Spears’ new hit single, “Hold it Against Me.” The songwriter is suing them in federal court in Florida.

He is seeking the same relief in Manhattan federal against unsigned pop starlet Chrissy, who’s contended the Dr. Luke co-penned “Tik Tok” was a knockoff of her song “My Slushy.”

The suit notes Dr. Luke, has been hit with similar accusations before — and always exonerated.

Reps for Chrissy and the Bellamy Brothers couldn’t be reached.
