‘Enterprise education can enhance careers education and student employability by enabling students to be more opportunity-focussed, self-aware and attuned to the business environment, for example.’ Enterprise and entrepreneurship education: Guidance for UK higher education providers.  QAA 2012

Often enterprise is seen as something separate to other careers work. However, in today’s labour market entrepreneurial skills are becoming central to survival.  Our students need to be resilient, deal with uncertainty, have personal confidence and be opportunity creators.  These are skills associated with the entrepreneurial mindset but are equally applicable beyond the world of business start-ups.

This webinar will look at ways we can teach our students these skills in careers education and curriculum enhancement.  We will also consider others involved in enterprise education and how our work fits in.
