The Lathom High School
Secret Song Writing Society is a seven-strong collective of musicians, lyricists,
singers, poets and friends. We meet most lunchtimes to create and collaborate
and our efforts have yielded our first song, which we recently recorded at
Northwest Recording Studios, with award-winning producer Paul Hutchinson. Our
song is called “Room Full of People” and was written to raise awareness of the
impact of social anxiety on mental health, an issue deemed by our group as
especially relevant to young people. Our hope is to raise money for MIND, the
mental-health charity, who ceaselessly campaign to provide access to services
and care for people suffering with mental health issues. We hope you enjoy our
