Holder of the Keys is really a Horus Heresy story in disguise, being mostly an account of the battle of Caliban from one of the Fallen. It could be any time since Ezekiel became Chief Librarian.

Sammael's tale in A Hunt in the Dark predates Purging of Kadillus, as does Honour of the Third.

Accept no Failure takes place just before the start of Master of Sanctity but has flashbacks to the Purging of Kadillus.

The novels go: Purging of Kadillus, Angels of Darkness, Ravenwing, Master of Sanctity and The Unforgiven.

Battle Brothers spins off from Ravenwing.

All Must End occurs during Master of Sanctity.
